2012 CLUB NEWS

Posted 27 October 2012:  13 boats showed up to brave the weather brought on by hurricane Sandy for Statelines Open tournament out of Bob's Fishing hole on the North west river today.  Most anglers reported catching plenty of fish, but quality bites were few and far between. Most of the 21 anglers stayed in the river, while a few brave souls made runs to Back Bay  and North Landing.  Taking First place honors today was the team of Jessie  Munden and Jon Guzman with a winning weight of 11.05 lbs.  2nd place went to  Charlie Reed and Chris Carmel with 10.90 lbs. Chris and Charlie had big fish also with a 3.25 brute.  A big "Thank You" to James and Dennis for letting us take over "The Hole" today.  Also thanks to Bob and Ronnie for making the tournament run so smoothly.  Also, 1st place paid $160.00. 2nd place paid $100.00 and Big fish was $65.00. Not bad for a $25.00 entry .
